I love fruit – and let’s face it, who really doesn’t love fruit?
It’s interested as I was eating some blueberries the other day that I had a co-worker come up to me saying they wish they had the luxury of being able to afford to buy blueberries. I told her they were from my own garden and she was shocked. She then went to state she doesn’t have room for a big garden. Luckily I knew just how easy it was to grow fruit in pots:
Anybody, at any level of gardening experience, can indulge a passion for delicious, high-quality fruits by growing strawberries, blueberries, and figs in containers. It requires a minimal investment of time and money, yet repays luscious dividends. Though most any fruit can be grown in a container, these three time-tested favorites are a good place to start, because they easily adapt to having their roots confined.
